Today the WSJ and Gawker were talking about students who completed undergrad in 3 years.  Eight years later, I for one have no regrets about speeding through, nor do I feel I missed out on any part of the college experience.  Had I done things any differently, would the chain of events after college have led me to my current life that transcends awesome?  I think the fuck not.

As an incredibly stressful week draws to a close, one could easily watch this Simba video on a loop for hours.  Here I sit with glazed eyes, a vacant grin, the whole nine.  Happy Friday!

A simple "fine" would suffice

Beets!!  Super excited to try this recipe out over the weekend for next week’s lunch.  At the very least my fingers will turn purple, and that alone will leave this kid pleased.  At best I will be full of detoxifying deliciousness, and nobody needs more help ensuring that her liver is fully functioning than I.  It’s basically win-win. If you can’t beet ‘em… yeah you walked right into that.
